I love beauty and skin care products almost as much as I love fashion. They are a key part of any curvy girl’s lifestyle. They keep us pretty, fresh, sparkling, and smooth all over. It's what you put on before your clothes that can make the difference in being really put together or not. Rough, dry or ashy skin is not a good look.
When I was asked to try a new body lotion by EOS (Evolution of Smooth), I approached the task cautiously. I was not at all confident about putting aside my Vaseline petroleum jelly enhanced with cocoa butter, especially now. My summertime go-to moisturizer slathers away the ash on my cocoa brown skin, but it’s at least a 20 minute routine every morning. Parabens are found in shampoos, commercial moisturizers, shaving gels, cleansing gels, some toothpastes and even personal lubricants. OMG! There is research that suggests that parabens act like estrogen hormones in the body which can make it a really bad thing for our risk of breast cancer. Not a good thing!
Okay back to my experiment….my EOS body lotion smoothed on easily and absorbed quickly into my skin which for a die-hard heavy cream user like me made me little nervous about it’s effectiveness. Remember I believed you had to “work” for it. Six hours later I ran my hands down my legs and, what do you know, they were still smooth and soft. I looked at my legs. They looked radiant, almost shiny, no ash in sight. How did it do that without me investing many minutes rubbing it in and then being careful not to get greasy residue on the fabric of my outfit? No worries about my clothing with Evolution of Smooth body lotion. No grease and no mess.
This is a breakthrough....at least for me. Who needs the parabens? Natural is so much better. Less time and less worry. I loved it so much I gave one to my best friend too.
